The beloved little school

I started studying the basic cycle of plastic arts in 2017, with some classmates who are even in this class, such as Maria José Segovia, Paulo Ravanal and Tania Salinas. The basic cycle of plastic arts was an alternative admission method to the PSU to be able to enter the Bachelor of Arts career. To apply you had to take a drawing test and an interview with some teachers. I was so nervous that I even forgot to bring paint brushes to the drawing test and Maria José lent me some. This lasted 2 years before entering undergrad and we had 4 subjects per semester: He drew Color Volume History of art Not many comrades continued, currently a small fraction of those who started this process remain. I am currently in the third year of visual arts, the name of the career changed and I had to continue my studies with other subjects because I froze the year 2020 and when I returned to university I could no longer continue in Fine Arts and I had to continue in Fine Arts. Visuals, for that reaso...

Cochiguaz

This summer I would like to travel to the north of Chile, specifically to the Elqui Valley. The place is specifically called Cochiguaz. This place is very far from the largest towns in the Elqui Valley, in fact, it is close to the border with Argentina. The place has few inhabitants, some are dedicated to agriculture, warehouses or tourist centers, there are even some people who are dedicated to astronomy. I have thought several times about whether I would like to live there or not, the place still has a good quality of life, there is natural water and the air is very clean. I would live there because it is very far from the urbanization and the night sky is beautiful, besides, it is surrounded by great mountains full of plants and for me it would be very interesting to be able to visit all those places without a time limit. There you could find hieroglyphs, plants and animals. You can also find minerals of different types. All those things interest me a lot, so I think it would b...

The old man of the plants

Lately I have imagined a lot the job that I would like to have in my old age. I would like to be able to live selling native Chilean plants, such as trees, shrubs and cacti. Currently working on that is something that relaxes me a lot, sowing, cutting and transplanting, especially cacti. I imagine in my greenhouse with many flowering cacti and pollinate flowers to get more seeds to plant. For this I need knowledge of cultivation, I already have that, I think that what I would need to be able to achieve it is money to be able to build the greenhouses, since there must be more than one because over time the plants take up a lot of space. It should have good profits, little by little the market for native plants is growing more and more, especially since the trend of reforestation and urban landscaping projects with native plants has grown a lot to make it more ecological, then it should be a deal with a good demand, could do very well or maybe not so well but I doubt I will have pro...

Macha and the depressive block

I've been to very good concerts, I couldn't say which one is the best, since I remember and I've enjoyed them all a lot, but the last concert I went to was great and very exciting. I went to the concert of "Macha y el bloque depresivo", it was on May 17, 2022 at the caupolican theater. "Macha y el bloque depresivo" is a Chilean band and they play boleros, Peruvian waltz, among other variants of similar styles. The atmosphere was very lively, and people seemed very enthusiastic, there was much applause and intense enthusiasm. I was excited, I sang from the first song to the last and screaming hahaha. I went with my girlfriend and during the concert a girl our age approached us and we began to sing along with her, apparently she needed to share her emotion and we had no problem playing along. Apparently she was with her parents and they weren't so excited, also they sold beer and wine in the place and we were all quite uninhibited, so we quickly began ...

San luis de Potosí, Mexico.

I would like to visit Mexico. It is a country that has a very interesting culture, such as spicy food, but I would particularly like to go to see its nature. It has very interesting plants, such as Peyote or Lophophora, cacti that ancient cultures used in their rituals, and that now the gringos travel there to do spiritual retreats and be able to take drugs with this plant, which harms natural conservation. It also has beautiful landscapes with mountains and waterfalls. In addition, I have always wanted to visit the most rural towns, I think that a cultural wealth is concentrated there that is very similar to that of Chile. Even so, I would not like to live there, I would only go to tourist. Although it is known that the drug cartels have taken over several towns and there is real danger on certain occasions. I wonder if it really looks yellow like in gringo movies. I imagine so, but due to the effect of the desert, the dust and the mountains with little vegetation.
